That can’t be their end. But I guess this goes to show us Luffy has a long way to go before standing up to him.

Actually I think it's somewhat better than what the first spoilers made it seem. Shanks used a powerful attack because he saw Kid destroying his fleet in his vision. It's still a one shot but at least Shanks saw the upcoming danger if he was just chill with it.

while i don't think shanks is as evil as kaido, big mom or blackbeard, he has been moving very shifty and I think he represents the continuation of the status quo with the WG and the pirates. I don't even know if he wants to be the real pirate king like why is the WG letting him walk into red mountain? even if he snuck in, they have called in the full force for less.
i don't know man, shanks is moving very weird

kaido and big mom were nerded something serious in their defeats. Big Moms abilities/ power scale varied too greatly in Wano arc. Her powers never made sense. And Kaido got defeated by plot armor. Shanks is probably the bar for Luffy to take one piece. Getting hints that he’s not really a good guy as he’s been portrayed as so far. Something dark about him we don’t know yet

Kidd and Laws crews are just too weak to challenge a Yonkou straight up. Zoro and Sanji can hold there own against anybody for a time at least. Bepo and Killer aren’t up to par. The yonkou commanders are always monsters
