I'm a huge fan of samurai ish but I wouldn't want to see an extended arc on a samurai island...too one dimensional. I love OP because of the multiple unique DF powers. If they go to the samurai island, I would hope it's a short bit like the dueling giants one. Zoro picking up the fire sword techniques would be ill.



Word, I shoulda read a better translation. The one I read was really strange with the wording. Made it sound like Luffy said "alright let's go get Shanks" whereas Law's Kaido comment was really vague.

I wouldn't mind that though, a ton of DF fruit users coming at these cats and Doflamingo tie-ins seem pretty obvious. I also wouldn't mind an arc focusing on where the hell Law's crew is instead. And there's still the mystery man floating right by punk hazard...tha's gotta be something.

I don't know, Oda been foreshadowing a Wano Country arc for a minute. The island's been mentioned multiple times and several characters we've seen were from Wano, including Ryuma (dude Zoro fought at Thriller Bark).

According to Brook, Wano isn't affiliated with the World Government and the Samurai are so strong that the Marines don't even go near there.

I think a Wano Arc would have potential, I'd bet there are swordsmen there who can actually challenge Zoro. Plus I'm sure the samurai and his son need to go home. My guess is they go to Wano, and DoFla sends some more crew members after them (or goes himself).

I'm actually hoping for a Wano arc just so Zoro can see how close he is to the top.... I have the feeling kinemon isn't even a top tier dude on the island. I mean... the marines don't even fukk with them nor does the WG. That's an interesting story waiting to be told.

I kinda hope they go a little deeper into what some of the people went through during the separation (mainly the big 3 and Robin)

1. What happened to Zoro's eye?

2. Did Robin meet Dragon and the Revolutionaries? What happened with that?


Outside of those two things we basically know what they did, but I'm sure Oda will throw some surprises in. Don't want to waste too much time on flashbacks but those are essential.


Kinda odd that Robin hasn't said a word to Luffy about his dad or the Revolutionary Army. Or that none of the Revolutionaries escorted Robin back to Saabody...I'm wondering if Robin fell out with the Revolutionaries. Or maybe they didn't want to let her leave.

Wow! Law just completely owned Dofla on this. Not sure which of those choices would be more advantageous...one ensures that the Marines stay out and don't get involved in Luffy/Law's next move, but also keeps Kaidou at full strength (it's also notable that now Kaidou can't keep building fake DF soldiers). The other option would mean Dofla and Kaidou focus on each other and leave an opening for Luffy/Law to sneak up on the emperor...but then they're in danger since Dofla will want their heads and I'm assuming that the Marines are gonna go after Law HARD for this one (he couldn't keep his status after this news leaks right?).

Just playing by the "let's see who fights who" property though...I would think Luffy v Kaidou the strongest and Law vs Dofla could work really well...then again, if Kaidou is known as the strongest...then it wouldn't make sense for a fight with him before Big Mom.

Edit: But btw there were like fifteen pages of wasted space with the marines/kids goodbye thing...that irked me.

Yeah Doflamingo is pretty screwed either way it goes. I think I would stay with the marines an hope they could protect me from Kaidou. They really pumping up Kaidou but then I think they have to after thriller bark. And if he isn't human then I wonder what he could be.

I assume if he was a fishman we'd have heard about it, though that could be a Jinbei tie in. Other than that, I don't really know...We've seen devil fruits turn humans into human/animal hybrids like Giraffe guy and the such.

I'd say Luffy, Law, and maybe Kidd (especially considering Zoro is at a disadvantage against him) could take Zoro.
