There are a lot of “experts” and individuals speaking reparations that don’t have the data or knowledge to be speaking on it. They are muddying up the waters, and I think that is what gets to Yvette & Tone; especially Tone, the most.
Biggest sign for me that these other groups aren’t really fighting for reparations like that, is the silence when it comes to Marianne Williamson. I know she presented a low number, but have any of these groups been trying to work with her and bring her the true picture? Darity, Tone, and Yvette have. Tariq Nasheed has brought her up. The other national/establishment groups have been quiet. That spoke volumes to me. Again, she’s not perfect, but she’s the only one that has both brought numbers to the table, reached out to individuals who has the data, and is willing to establish a committee.
Also, a lot of these groups are broadening the reparations talk to every single black person in this country, and it can’t be that way.

BS Why do you type stuff like this when you know it's not true. People who were using the #ADOS in their social media profiles were asking questions of various Reps, and Senators in relation to HR 40 and reparations in general which sparked the question who/what was #ADOS and why there was a renewed interest in the subject. The problem came when they started asking reps from organizations like NCobra about #ADOS and they were giving out false information based loosely on what they thought it was about ie hot takes. Yvette and Antonio's beef is simply that why did these different media outlets not go to the source if they had questions about the movement and it's ideology instead of being misinformed by people not apart of it.
I get that you don't like the movement it's founders and the other people apart of it but can you at least avoid spreading these false inflammatory notions about it jesus christ.

That’s a tall task to ask, as those who oppose have been disingenuous and lying since this has begun. Both aisles of politics bring that out, I suppose. It’s definitely turned me off, and I’m sure it’s turning a lot of others off. I still plan on taking part in the election process, but honestly, f*** the Repubs and Dem parties.
I will admit there have been a few of those who use the hashtag that haven’t acted in good faith, also, and both Yvette and Tone have made some mistakes. For the most part, they’ve been great, though. Good thing about the Ados movement is that even without them, we’d still chug right along.

Black African Descendants residing in the United States - man, that’s us AA’s, those who come from the Caribbean that are here in the US, and you could even argue that that also includes Africans that have migrated here. So, are they making a push for reparations for every black man and woman currently living in the US?

I'm disgusted. These are the people Harriet shot. But at the same time, N'cobra, CBC, politicians, journalists etc.....they are just destroying their careers in the long run.
