Why can't it be thoug? The last 5 minutes is what's talked about the following week. They stole that moment from Moonlight and everyone involved. Now Trump is looking at the Oscars like they are the idiots and not to be taken seriously. He called the entire show "sad". There's def stuff going on behind the scenes. Why is no one talking about all the diversity at the Oscars this week? Those last 5 minutes overshadowed the great night. First Muslim to win an Oscar, Moonlight winning, multiple coloured people winning. It's no coincidence that no one is talking about it cause of what happened in the last 5 minutes.
Sure. The moment was stolen. I was HEATED when La La Land initially won. And I said to the people that I was watching with that the celebration of Moonlight winning was killed with that mistake. It took the wind out of the sails.
But I just don't know if I believe that it was purposely done. That's all. We can agree to disagree.
Just frustrating when we finally have a non slavery black movie win. And we got people complaining about white producers, the gay agenda, the feminizing of black men agenda, and the delegitimizing the win by falsely announcing agenda.
I'm choosing to look past all of that and dismiss them out right. Maybe I'm naive.
