It warmed my heart to see those young black boys that played Chiron and Kevin on stage for the award acceptance, fros out and shyt:salute:

I hope like shyt that directors go on to hire these kids for future roles. They are talented as fukk, same with the kid from Beasts of No Nation. They just need their shots.

I know Ryan Coogler is slated to do a film with Michael B Jordan about the test cheating scandal in Atlanta pretty soon, so hopefully he gives them a look to portray some of the students. That could be another prestige drama in the future.

But them onus isn't on him alone. Directors should be dying to work with the cast of Moonlight. Say what you want about whether it deserved awards for it's script or subject matter, but it was one of the best ensembles of the year by far. All of the performances, from Naomi, to Janelle, to Trevante, to Andre were so good.

so there was just an envelope that says la la land wins best picture? I don't see how this is Warren or faye's fault, if they were privvy to who really won having been part of the board doing the votes they can only read what's on paper. I am no conspiracy theorist but this seems like a cac's (with clouts) revenge to oscarsowhite. Like we will give them the award but let's do it in the most backhanded way to rob them of their moment
