That's why I wasn't too hung up on it. Great acting, but i've seen the James Earl Jones and I have the book/play. But with that acting, Denzel had this in the bag.

La La Land won every award it was supposed to. Unless Emma loses Best Actress, this has been a pretty predictable ceremony

A Hollywood elite helping s film win shouldn't be something held against Moonlight. ALL films have Hollywood elite campaigning for the film. That is what the Oscars are.

They only hate it because moonlight is about a gay man


Literally EVERY SINGLE MOVIE NOMINATED got as much if not more push than Moonlight
