Well that was interesting. I see quite a few a listers will not even show up to the oscars this year

I would have replaced Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne with David Oyowelo and Jake Gyllenhaal in the Best Actor nominations.

Eddie Redmayne deserves all the credentials they can give him. Dude literally disappeared into his character.

Now I don't care about these awards at all (as is well-documented by now) but goddamn if they aren't proving their worthlessness this year.

They actually snubbed The Lego Movie for Animated Feature and Gone Girl for Adapted Screenplay.

I can see them talking about Bradley Cooper for three hours, at least he's coming close to being a household name now. Leo, Brad, Ben, Pitt, Denzel = no shows for sure.

Ironically that was the last time the two frontrunners were the two most absolute unfukkwithable movies that year had to offer.

Well to be fair, Leo and Denzel didn't do any Oscar type movie this year and I don't think Leo was in anything. Ben may be there in support of Rosamund and Brad will be there because he's a producer on Selma
