Minnesota really got a white boy pinch running named DeShaun? :wtf:
We've graduated to White DeShauns'

One of the white girls that got drafted last night had a white corn fed brother named Jalen.

We gonna have a breh in the league named Kyler or Caden or Joff

the O's are such a disappointment. They should be baseball's OKC Thunder and they've messed it up so much.
I hate the entire management apparatus.

Rubenstein for just being Angelos with new paint.
Elias for not spending money and just living off his Astros cred.

And mother fukkin Hyde over analyzing trash ass managerial style

I heard/read quite a few media guys who were high on Baltimore coming into the season and I was absolutely baffled. Gross negligence/mismanagement is happening in Baltimore.

Cause the squad has been winning despite management. They got to the playoffs earlier than expected. So instead of fortifying a winner they got all trust the system.

New owner comes in talking like I'm going to do everything to win the teams first championship since Cal motherfukkin Ripken. The Iron Man was a got damn rookie. And what did they do not a damn thing.

Just like the O's teams of the early 10s winning despite a ownership that doesn't give a fukk. It can only do so much. But this crash out is looking absolutely disgusting

Jackson Holliday is a ground ball machine.

The Orioles have to find a way to open him up. Get him to focus middle/inside and drive those pitches. Slowly let him get more comfortable hitting the other way.

Right now he’s spraying the ball on the ground in all directions and it’s sad.

Jasson Dominguez with a nice game tonight but he’s looking like shyt to start the year.

I’ve soured on him a lot in the last year and I’m not seeing much to get excited about. Unless something dramatic happens with his output, we might be looking at a Ricky Ledee/Shane Spencer type ceiling here.

If that.

Oh no, let me know if @tremonthustler1 negs you. I'll give you a +5 to balance it out. :picard:

Speaking of @tremonthustler1 Gleyber is the only reason Detroit didn't get no-hit today. Being allowed a beard is doing wonders for his game. :wow:

Tremont is a firm believer that Jasson Dominguez will be a star player and is off limits for trades.

We just don’t see eye to eye on this.
That’s okay.

I’ve got some questionable takes. I also said that Julio Rodriguez will likely be a bust player a few months ago. He’s off to a crappy start. I guess we will see about that one.

I made a bunch of early moves in my fantasy league.

Dropped Marcus Semien to get Jonathan India at 2B.
Dropped George Springer to get Jonathan Aranda as a Utility player.
Dropped Taylor Ward to get Ben Rice as a Utility player.
Those moves were made over a week ago.

Traded Willy Adames to get Adolis Garcia this week.

Semien has been one of the better 2B over the past few years but I think he's washed up by now. Not that India projects to be a star, but I think he will be better than Semien this year.

Dropping Springer hurt a little because I dropped him prior to the season starting and he was hot in Period 1. I just don't think he sustains it all season.

Taylor Ward is an okay player. I think it's worth a gamble with Ben Rice because he's young and makes a ton of hard contact. It looks like his swing is updated from last year and the early results have been promising.

Willy Adames probably isn't going to be that good. I like Jeremy Pena's bat profile better. He's a little younger and plays in a better ballpark and to me -- there probably isn't a huge gap between them. Being able to get Adolis Garcia is a Buy Low scenario. He's ice cold to start the season but I'm confident he's a 35 HR bat. Hopefully he doesn't get busted for PEDS or something.
