Seems like NBA is the only bigg league that's still holding up against trump

Other leagues are nothing but cowards who clearly have a large KKK audience and they scared to lose them. Pathetic shyt.

The contract is not terrible if he does what he did last year for the next decade, but I doubt he does. He might be the type to get paid and balloon further and stop caring. He basically coasted for 2 years (2022/2023) and showed up (2024) for an extension. Say what you want about Soto being overpaid, but he never takes an at bat for granted, let alone coast for a year.
That 48 home run season was really a product of that minor league ballpark they played in during the 2021 season, I really thought that would be his breakout year.

Is what it is :manny:
It’s early, I’ll be very surprised if Chicago pays Tucker $700+ million he is going to command in the offseason

The cubs books are clear for the foreseeable future no contracts past ‘26 they can offer tucker whatever he wants the cubs are top 4 value and revenue in mlb

& If they don’t they’ll have two outfielders who are top 75 to replace him (alcantara and Cassie both at triple a) :yeshrug:

Oh I know the cubs can “afford” it, but don’t really tie that much money up into a single position player? We don’t do higher than 6 or 7 year contracts down here and for good reason. Historically these 10+ year contracts aren’t a good move.

Death, taxes and the Tigers shytting on the Yankees.
You expect Skubal to perform well.
Few people expected Mize to perform well. I commented about him a few days ago. He could have a breakout.
