Just getting back into baseball ...the A's are coming to Vegas in a few years so I looked up that roster and HOLY shyt!!!
MOST of their team makes under a million dollars a year and are rookies or 2nd year players...a bonified AAA team
If Fisher tries that shyt in Vegas he will get sent to Lake Mead in concrete boots .... figuratively of course

The Aces are the best team in Vegas and then I think the Knights are pretty good. Raiders and A's don't care about being competitive.
I'm glad a star player is staying in Canada and the Jays showed they are serious about competing. Maybe they'll finally be able to lure some other free agents in the future.

The contract is not terrible if he does what he did last year for the next decade, but I doubt he does. He might be the type to get paid and balloon further and stop caring. He basically coasted for 2 years (2022/2023) and showed up (2024) for an extension. Say what you want about Soto being overpaid, but he never takes an at bat for granted, let alone coast for a year.
