Wyatt Langford continues to rake. I will forever hate Scott Harris for passing on him. :mjcry:

Baltimore really should go all in and trade away some of those prospects

No way they resigning Burnes to a huge contract so this year is there chance to win it all

They should try to trade for both Crochet and Fedde from Chi

They don’t even got room for all there position player prospects quite the problem to have

Like I told you before Max will probably end up the much better player overall

He’s a legit 5 tool player with way more celling

I don't care about tools. Wildly overrated. I care about hitting and Langford can rake. Clark is not gonna be this caliber of hitter.

If you had the Cleveland Guardians with a better record than the New York Yankees at the all star break...

Cheers.

:picard:

I know there's still time but I'm saying though.

They should but baseball trades are stupid. For Crochet, the trade should begin with Jackson Holliday and Mayo.

Baltimore probably should go all in.

The Yankees are top heavy.
The Guardians and Mariners are fairly weak.
Houston ain't got it.
Maybe Texas is scary if things solidify for them in the 2nd half.

Would they be WS favorites? No.
But if they got there, they have a chance.

Atlanta is floundering.
Milwaukee probably isn't good enough.
And Philly and LA are an injury away from a catastrophe.

Wenn schon, denn schon

Nah hell no on Holliday it should start with Mayo and Norby that’s really enough right there but no way do you trade Jackson that’s crazy talk

As of this moment there are 11 hitters batting .300 or better.

In 2004, there were 36.
Game is in a terrible spot right now. There’s a hardcore following that will never leave but the league needs to address hitting.

They’ve been fairly proactive with the rules changes but there’s still more that needs to be done. I think automated balls and strikes would help a lot.

Crochet is one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball and Baltimore can win a World Series this year. There is no guarantee Holliday will be good in MLB. How many top prospects bust in the bigs? This isn’t basketball when it’s clear which guys are gonna be stars.

When big trades happen in the NBA, it’s 4+ picks and a combo of quality players to boot. In MLB, it’s maybe two top 100 prospects and rarely a team’s #1 guy. It’s all fukked up.

That’s why Dombrowski has been so successful, besides the blank checks he gets to work with. He knows most of these hyped prospects will be busts so he sends them all out for proven MLB talent.

MLB teams are stupid as fukk.

Batting average is down.
But out of the top 15 teams in batting average, only 3 have losing records as of this writing:

NYM 44-45
ARI 45-46
SFG 44-47

Sure. Maybe OPS or some other metric is a better reflection of a good lineup. But batting average still matters.

God bless the Almighty Bux Gawd :blessed:

You're really fighting the good fight trying to make people give a shyt about the Twins in this thread.

Salud.
:ehh:

I'd still rather hear about the Tigers or Pirates.
There are bad teams that are more interesting than Minnesoter.

Twins got the 4th best offense in the baseball. :hubie:

If they can get a lefty out of the bullpen who can get people out and another starter who can eat some innings, they can catch Cleveland :hubie:
