I would start with the 50 home run hitters first...

I know Arod had some 50 home run years, but I don't remember if he ever stole that many bases during his Seattle days, and by the time he got to Texas/NY he slowed down.

Bonds is the other obvious choice, he was a big base stealer during his Pirate days, and of course he had some big power years, so without looking I'd say Bonds? :patrice:

Sosa had a couple of 30/30 seasons but i don't think he got anywhere near stealing 50 during his power years...

Canseco had a 40/40 season...

Tim Raines ain't never have no 50 home run season :patrice:

Guessing I would say its Ty Cobb or some player from the 1800s or some sh*t
Bonds and Brady Anderson.

Said it from beginning, and sticking with it, Roki isn’t going to Dodgers. Absolutely no legacy to be had going there. Be the third string Jap pitcher on a team that has already won 2 ships without you in recent memory.

The Yankees international signings from that Baseball America article:

Manny Cedeño, SS, Dominican Republic
Ruben Castillo, OF, Dominican Republic
Isaias Castillo, OF, Dominican Republic
Edison Charles, OF, Dominican Republic
Carlos Bello, SS, Dominican Republic
Ranciel Abreu, RHP, Dominican Republic

First glance...

I don't love Cedeno as a hitter. To me there's just a lot of movement going on. I have a fear that he's going to struggle to remain balanced as he moves up to the higher levels....which means I'll be proven wrong and this kid might wind up being a Hall of Famer.

I like Ruben Castillo's hands. He seems to stay behind the ball.

Isaias Castillo - could be the best prospect of the bunch. Don't love his arm so my guess is corner outfielder or something. But that bat could be something.

Edison Charles - maybe the prospect with a higher ceiling than Isaias, but he's got to grow into his body more. He seems to profile as more of a full time player. There's just a longer path for him, I think.

I don't know anything about Carlos Bello. From the little I can find on Google, he was ready to sign with the Astros but a verbal agreement fell apart. He's listed as a top SS prospect but the youtube clip I saw of him doesn't wow me personally. Seems athletic. Probably not likely to move up the ranks fast.

Ranciel Abreu - 17 years old. Already throws 94 mph. He's a fastball/curve/change kid right now. Pitchers seem impossible to project at 17. At least I never had any real confidence in being able to do it. Too many things have to go right for pitchers -- especially when they're 6-7 years away from being Major League ready.
