This coming from someone who thinks no matter how much he’s been hyped pca ain’t ready yet. He made mad base running mistakes,fielding mistakes and couldn’t catch up to mlb fastballs.but David Ross woat ass didn’t put him (or Canario) in the best situations to succeed. He always had them pinch hitting vs bullpens with gas in a playoff race. Which is why I was glad the cubs hired counsell he’s clearly better at these things. But I was always cool with belliger back on one- two years not the 5/7 200 + this bozo wanted

PCA is probably a solid player and given the reps, he can probably play defensively in the bigs right now.

I think he can probably make enough contact to be passable as a hitter. Maybe half a season of ABs in 2024 and he could look better in 2025.

I'd have to get more info on Canario to have an opinion on him.
