A big part of that is the ESPN x SEC relationship. Looking forward to other networks getting in on the playoffs so we don't have as much bias.
Who a team beats matters but who they lose to matters as well. Can't be rewarding teams that start off arbitrarily ranked high in the preseason, then lose 3 but get to hang around the top 12 range only b/c that little # next to their name in week 0.

great in game analyst, great on gameday...his takes and position regarding the playoffs are absolutely horrid and detrimental to the sport. Him shytting on fsu last year is still wrong

I don't dislike herbie, he straight in my book, but he's pissed off a lot of fans with his "bama should be in and IU not in...what are we even doing here?!?" antics.
He can get annoying to me with the dogs (i don't give a fukk about his dogs), and yesterday he kept interrupting Fowler's stats and info to repeatedly gush about the rose bowl venue. A couple times is fine but it happened like 10x and i'm like just breh we get it, chill. I don't remember that same energy in last years game...
He's decently fair, and isn't above criticizing osu. I'll take him 100000x over someone like Des Howard who's just a caricature, and that's not due to the scUM connection b/c I like Jalen Rose and Woodson analysis. I just don't think Desmond adds anything at all.

went to look at today's schedule to see when ND and Georgia were playing and didn't realize there are still more non-playoff bowl games to be played, I don't understand why it's so hard to get those games played before at least the quarterfinals

But he seems to be doing that less and less these days and opting for discussing lunatic fans (I mean it's "fanatics" for a reason) and talkin ball
politics about who deserves what, and every conf/schedule not the same, etc. It's taking away from what's going on real time as the games are on.
And I guess if you let @Whips-n-Chains tell it, you can add him talkin about his dog every other segment to lol. I don't really care about that part but it does seem like the "peak" culmination of that should've been the outcry of support he received when his last pup died but now he pushin' the new one too like he almost tryna go viral for being a dogset member.
