great in game analyst, great on gameday...his takes and position regarding the playoffs are absolutely horrid and detrimental to the sport. Him shytting on fsu last year is still wrong

I will always agreed FSU got screwed last year.

I don't dislike herbie, he straight in my book, but he's pissed off a lot of fans with his "bama should be in and IU not in...what are we even doing here?!?" antics.

He can get annoying to me with the dogs (i don't give a fukk about his dogs), and yesterday he kept interrupting Fowler's stats and info to repeatedly gush about the rose bowl venue. A couple times is fine but it happened like 10x and i'm like just breh we get it, chill. I don't remember that same energy in last years game...

He's decently fair, and isn't above criticizing osu. I'll take him 100000x over someone like Des Howard who's just a caricature, and that's not due to the scUM connection b/c I like Jalen Rose and Woodson analysis. I just don't think Desmond adds anything at all.

Well, he does the Rose Bowl every year and every year he and Fowler glow over the venue throughout the game. When the sun sets, the pageantry, how he watched it as a kid in cold grey Ohio etc etc. I didn't hear it yest as I was traveling mostly, but I expect it every year.

And hey, I agree with the SOS logic, overall. I'm glad ASU had the showing they did yesterday bc they really need to look at SOS for NON-winning-your-conference teams. Especially if you didn't even play for the title.

At our best, OU would have still lost 2-3 games this year due to having probably the hardest SOS in the country. That should absolutely matter and be taken into consideration

This is why all of the talk about the playing field being leveled because of NIL and the portal doesn’t rate to me

Bluebloods might always be in the final four, but there's no more hoarding players by a handful of schools anymore. It's till early. We won't know until a few more years from now on how this will play out especially if we keep the 12 team playoff, portal, and NIL going as currently constructed.

Not sure how y'all just calling him another OSU WR. If he was a senior I'd understand, but did is a true frosh with 14 TDs, and he's already won more (2 playoff games) than the bunch of them besides those that were there in 2020-21 season. 2021 OSU won a rose bowl but that wasn't a playoff rose bowl, so that's not counted the same.

For reference sake, MHJ's best two years, he had 14 TDs each.

@Silkk man whats the real on this kid.. I know he got hype but the numbers dont back it up, and he got verified track times but this year I didnt see him pulling away from anybody that runs a 10.3 speed. Was he hurt?

Anyway, if he still got juice let him know he can play Tavon Austin/Tank Dell/ Restrepo role in offense

Lincoln definitely didn't use him right, but I gotta agree the times he did get it I didn't see the next level athlete I was expecting. Although in my head I was imagining something like Reggie and that's probably not fair. I wouldn't be surprised to see him ball out next year though
