Ole MIss will probably never see a chance like this again for a minute. They fukked up badly. They were in a position like Tennessee and blew it.

Breh they left us, a 2 time defending national champion, 1 loss UGA team that lost to Bama in the SECCG out just a year ago. We not makin it in with 3 losses no matter if it’s a 1 point loss to Texas on a last second 70 yard FG in triple OT.

After last year's debacle with all 5 Power Conference Champs having 1 or less losses, they were not going to let an at large team in. shyt they left FSU out because their QB was hurt (at least their excuse anyway).

What you think of just stopping the bullshyt and goto 16 to have all 10 FBS Conference Champs in with 6 at large?

I mean I could get there but the more you expand the more mediocrity you’re gonna let in. The unintended consequence of expansion is that the conference schedules are harder (look at the SEC this year) and more competitive conferences like the SEC are beating each other up. But even tho I still believe the SEC is the best conference it’s hard to justify when you’ve got multiple 3 loss teams this late in the season. So I’m cool with them keeping it at 12 TBH with the very real possibility that you will see a 3 loss at large team sneak in this year

A&M's saving grace if they beat Texas is winning the SEC Championship to get in the playoff. For a 3 loss team, it's great.

We just have no margin b/c we got 2 losses already. If we had only lost once or been undefeated coming into the SECCG it wouldn’t matter if we lose the SECCG b/c of the expanded playoff

Now I’d rather not play it but it is what it is. It’s less about who we’re playing and more about we get knocked out if we lose

Too much football.. these kids bodies will be destroyed before the pros

It will also boost the mid majors knowing you can get in. Playing OOC games against the Big 4 won't have to be a cash grab anymore knowing you can still win your conference and get in. 6 at large spots remaining is still plenty too. Just say 2 extra SEC and Big 10 spots. Notre Dame can shut the fukk up, and you still have one more spot.

I think to your point it will expand and it will
specifically guarantee more Big 10/SEC slots.

I think we’re still looking at the Big 12 becoming more of an also ran conference and only getting a guaranteed conference champion in, ACC is at best getting 2 in so in reality most of the best teams in D1 are in Big 10 or SEC and those conferences should get more teams into the CFP every year
