3 years, 90 million

I think Pete Alonso should take it.
Or accept a lower AAV for an extra year or two.

It's almost January and all the big names have signed. If he was gonna get 200m or whatever he would have gotten it by now.

I don't see a problem with 3 years/$90M, especially if there's an opt out after the first year.
Pete wants 10years/$300M+ but no one is crazy enough to do that.
We might as well be in January and Pete still sitting there unemployed.
But you know Boras is in his head.

3/90 and I would be happy with an extra year if he hits 40 plus.
It's quite possible that with Soto batting ahead of him, Alonso has a great year.

Not that Alonso is Aaron Judge but having runners on makes this a lot easier for you.

I’ve seen this movie before. Boras is gonna convince him that sitting out till he gets his money is the best course of action. Then a dimbass team like the Angels are gonna give him what he asks for, 4 weeks I to spring training. Then Pete shows up and gets hurt due to no offseason grinding.

This shyt is rinse and repeat at this point.

Surprised gleyber only got one year
Picked a bad time to have a down year. He mighta received some multi-year offers at $15 million per but is betting on having a big year in a low pressure environment to get better offers next year.

If he balls out, this cheap ass franchise better extend him during the season.
