Yankees should move on this is just ridiculous

The Yankees and Mets both remain heavily involved in the five-team Juan Soto Derby, with both clubs recently upping offers into the $710 million-$730 million range — MLB record territory — as it’s believed the sweepstakes could be within a day or two of an historic conclusion.

Both New York teams showed how serious they are with recent changes to offers, and both now have extended bids above Shohei Ohtani’s record $700 million deal.

It is believed the Mets may be slightly higher as of Saturday night, but the respective offers appear to be within shouting distance.

Yankees right there wit the Mets

I feel like I posted about him before but still :mjlol:
This guy is gonna spark a hilarious brawl if he gets to the majors.

The announcer ain't have to do the batter like that after he got frozen up... "Ballplayer or statue?" :russ:

there is no moving on.

Aaron Judge is gonna put up Tyler O'Neill numbers without Soto
I know it’s all meaningless and yanks will make it back ten folds just crazy to focus so much on one player but George would of wanted it

There's a number he's comfortable with and it has to be 700M+ and they know the Mets are willing to add another 20 always. If the Yankees have really been getting dragged along higher as the Mets have pushed things, he knows where he wants to be. Highest bidder or go back to the Yankees on what would still be a record contract dollar wise and AAV wise.

Everyone here is talking about New York when we all know he's going to Boston.:manny:.
I shyt you not.. this is what I want. :yeshrug:

Equally piss off the Yankees, while not getting handcuffed with that contract for 15+ years.

Let’s go Boston

Edit: AND getting him outta the NL

Boston will probably make an offer that seems "close" to what the Yankees and Mets will offer and they'll say they gave it a shot, but in reality probably aren't really trying to get him to Boston.

A lineup with Soto, Devers and Duran is pretty strong.
I wouldn't doubt Boston as a legit landing spot.
