I'm cool with Soto ending up in either Boston or Toronto. We wouldn't have to worry about him, and he'd go to Yankee divisional rivals.

I would be surprised if Soto chose Toronto.

He really seemed to love the energy of playing in New York. Signing with Toronto seems like it would be a step down for him in terms of the market and vibe and his status as a superstar/face of the game.

It's one thing to pass on the Yankees.
