Of the big 4 sports in North America I only heard this take from Yankee fans. Like for example I'm sure a Chiefs can watch an NFL game that the Chiefs aren't playing in or a Lakers fan can watch an NBA game the Lakers aren't playing in. Some Yankee fans are like those Eminem fans who say they are Eminem fans but not Hip Hop fans..

Their starting pitching isn't as good as those teams either.
