Can’t wait to see what bullshyt BET comes up with for this portion of the hip hop awards

In a perfect world, they turn this year's BET Hip Hop Awards into a 50th Anniversary tribute with performances and cyphers from artists from every era. They still do the awards, but change it up a little.

You guys notice in the last ten years, hip hop usually has the standout performance?

2016: Kendrick
2017: A Tribe Called Quest
2022: Nas
2023: Hip Hop 50th Anniversary Mashup

I don't remember most of the things that happen at the Grammys, but these performances never left my mind. I listen to Nas' performance like it was recorded in the studio. These other genres need to step their game up. Where are their 1988 MJ performances?

Props to Kendrick but the only songs I listened to more than twice were the GFK and Kodak tracks. It’s a nice album but not something you can throw on every day. Plus, there’s just so many other albums I listened to within that same time span that I thought were better.
