Well follow the money also favors the acc surviving because there are only so many places acc teams can go and almost none can afford to exit.
This news today says to me that the B10 wasn’t able to figure out a way to get the Eastern seaboard schools from the ACC rn. I think they woulda fast tracked that if they could. Maybe they will in the future, but that conversation is clearly not where many think it is

At least we won and played in multiple national championships games since the turn of the century. When was the last time scUM football played a championship game in front of an national audience :patrice:?
You wanna look up viewership for the past 5+ years? A national audience? Are you 5?

Oh, and the 'turn of the century' does nothing for you, me or your auntie. You know what does?

The last 1343 days.

So you can keep that 'turn of the century' title that you got in your dome. I'll take the most recent times.

Contracts aren’t easy to figure out, the biggest hurdle is grant of rights, and to stretch the conference out wider is bad

It’s probably gonna take years for those ACC teams to get out of that grant of rights deal, even if they have the money to get out, it might be a legal battle to get out.

If they could dissolve the conference and everyone had a place to go, that could be a way out. The problem is that you might be talking about 500mil a head in exit fees, making it so the remaining schools have every incentive needed to stick together and see the contract out.
