We needed that too cause was trailing Southern Miss by 11.

They always played us tough for some reason.
Although it was a good year, It was one of those fraudulent years where you knew it was just a matter of time til the exposal came.

Just like Miami a couple years ago when they started out like 10-0 with a bunch of close wins they barely eeked out.

Still got no idea how yall beat Tenn 6-3 and I will never go back to watch it again and find out :russ:

After Prothro got hurt, the offense fell off a cliff and then JP Closner the center got hurt, it was some ugly ball for sure. The defense carried most of that year, one of the best defenses in Bama history actually.

We beat Tennessee cause towards the end, Tennessee was about to score, the fullback fumbled the ball into the endzone for a touchback, Bama gets the ball, Brodie threw a big pass to DJ Hall and held on to the ball for the rest of the game for the winning kick. I’ll never forget that game.

Still feel bad for Prothro, him snapping his leg like that was crazy. DJ Hall was nice too but not top 5.

Julio is the most talented so I'd prob still put him 1 even though he didn't put up the #s the other guys did. He was huge for turning the program around at that time. Smitty 2, Cooper 3 then it's a toss up.

I can see him shining in a run oriented offense
Yea not sure why we don't just read option teams to death with him. He's 6'2'' 230 and runs a 4.4. If he doesn't win the job we should at least have a package for him as a change up and for short yardage situations.

Some O$U fans said he was battling injuries and walk-ons was ahead of him on the depth chart. That’s true?
Don’t know about walk ons being ahead of him but definitely battling injuries. There’s a freshman who came in this winter ahead of him and probably another would have surpassed him when he comes this summer.
