Do you legitimately think UCLA has a chance to build a program? like, maybe with its big ten transition it can..do something?

they fukked up a lot of worthy QBs and RBs over the past decade. Brett Hundley, Josh Rosen, DTR, they were decent enough to fight for starting jobs at most schools in america...what weapons did they have though? I always said the sleeping giants in college football were Colorado, Minnesota, and I'd add UCLA to that list now and I see a revitalized va tech as a sleeper.

On paper they have all right stuff with the move to the Big 10. Being in the California State School system they did have to maneuver around stricter budgets and all that, but the Big 10 is bringing an infusion of cash that will help.

I just don't really have a pulse on the alumi/booster base. Seems like they don't have the full support to compete in the NIL Game as of now, but as you said it's a sleeping giant. They have the large affluent alumni base, with connections throughout the entertainment/health/tech industry similar to USC. If Chip can pull together a couple solid years to start off in the Big 10 on the national stage, Pac-12 network is like being locked up, it could reinvigorate the base and get the money flowing.

But fukk em, so I hope not :ehh:

No clue what Auburn's QB situation is, but if you get the 2021 version of Thorne, he'd be capable and solid addition...if you get last years version, he'll be food in the SEC.

2021 he had 2 NFL receivers and the best RB in the nation, but I have to imagine Auburn has to have a less depleted and more talented roster than what MSU is offering this season.

I still haven't ran into a hardcore UCLA football fan since I been out here. I can see them being a middle of the road team in the Big 10 getting some wins but constantly struggle against the big boys. I think that their base is more focus on basketball season in my opinion :yeshrug: .

Bama sabotaging milroe like we did hurts. Just let him run that pat white offense and be done with it
I don't follow UAT honestly, but I can see why they wouldn't want to do something Blake Sims-esque (I think Blake is 2x as good a passer as Jalen honestly) with how remedial the offense looked at times last year.

Now, I couldn't tell you why their solution to that would be to snatch the 2022 ND offense (which was meh at best) and then get the QB who made that offense look the worst out of Buchner and Drew Pyne. That would be worrying the hell out of me if I was one of y'al.

I been negative nancying the Payton Thorne get to other Auburn fans, just bc I think he's a turbo charged game manager at his best, but if they get Coleman like it appears they will, then they'll probably just steal elements from the 2021 MSU style anyway.
