I get it, and it makes total sense but no. I look at it just how wikipedia does in the context of history.

Now when it comes to debating quality of wins/SOS at the end of the season yes.

I think teams often play better as they find their groove, that Utah lsu and fsu teams were not the same later in the season, so that said, if they are hot later and you beat them it means more, if you caught them early, things were in your favor, the same Oregon that beat osu was not the same at the end period, they imploded
