Oregon state and wazoo gonna get some kind of settlement to essentially stfu and go away. Then, if they wanna do that build yo own conference from scratch bs, then go ahead

Most messed up part is that OSU and WSU don't deserve this at all. OSU has a good chance to finish top-15 for the second year in a row and this is their tenth 8-win season since 2000. WSU has gone to bowl games in 7 of the last 8 years and has eight 8-win seasons since 2000. Both of these teams regularly competed in a good conference and now they're getting kicked out of the Big 5 solely because they're based in small markets?

Low-key this shows how fukked up corporate our higher education system is. Why the hell are all these public universities making such ridiculous moves just to chase a bag? This shouldn't even be a primary concern for them.

Man, congrats to Tulane on their season, but the American Athletic Conference is so fukking ass that it doesn't even make sense for them to be ranked against Power 5 schools.

I just looked it up and the entire AAC is 1-20 against Power 5 squads this year. The ONLY win was Rice beating Houston in double overtime. They might as well be a fukking FCS conference at that rate.

Only three other games were even close: UTSA losing by 3 to Houston (them again), Florida Atlantic losing to Illinois by 6, and Memphis losing to Missouri by 7. ALL the other 17 losses were by at least two touchdowns and most were 20-30 points minimum.

Same goes for Conference USA. Just 1-10 against Power 5 schools this year. (That one win is New Mexico State beating Auburn 31-10 last week.)

Of the 10 losses, only two were close. Middle Tennessee losing to Missouri by 4, and Jacksonville State losing to South Carolina by 10. All the other losses were blowouts.

Whoopdedo that Liberty is undefeated. Their best win of the season is.....Bowling Green? They have the 2nd-weakest schedule in all of college football, there are 40-50 schools that would go undefeated against that lineup (though not Auburn lol). Shouldn't be competing in the same division.
