I hope when those southern schools come to try and get Prime to come and coach he tells them to kick rocks.

He can really build something in Colorado.

:russ: Let’s let this season play out first, and what about Deion makes you think he’s cool on the chitlin circuit ?
The Pac 12 not approving the Colorado vs ASU week 0 game shows why that inept ass conference is in the position they’re in and likely won’t be around much longer smh
I want to say it was a specific reason, but if not, yeah that was stupid,

Deion ran his mouth before it was official and the other coaches shut it down

I mean, the games matter... But Without one game being played he has showed how valuable a commodity he is no matter what level the program.

Having the only spring game on ESPN tells future recruits that if they go to the Buffs they will be in the spotlight.

They have arguably the best transfer portal class right now.

I wouldn't call doing all this at the P5 level the "chitlin circuit"

I not expecting them to dominate next season cause they are still transition from being a ONE win program...but Deion done already made the program MUCH better and i believe he can win there consistently much easier without dealing with southern boosters/administration demands especially considering they weren't impressed with his Jackson State run

Creating hype, and getting a few guys to flip are cool but don’t mean much, besides creating forum fodder, and fuel for the debate shows/podcasts, prime a showman so the hype there, he can sell the sizzle, but… he’s going to have to start selling the steak too. Being a glorified recruiter and hype man is cool, but it’s plenty of coaches that can/have done this, Remember Sumlin ? Les Miles ? Colorado has fallen on tough times, but they’ve had good seasons, he hasn’t done anything yet except create hype

Coaches hate televised spring games, so Deion getting one filmed was not the incredulous task you paint

When i say chitlin circuit, no one is putting their hands together to pray for the Colorado job, they have a bad location, no proximity talent, and low commitment to football, Deion would literally fit like a glove in the sec, he knows how to be a showman and glad-hand, and can make you fill important when you aren’t, he start winning in Colorado, he won’t be long for those boulder sidelines, so i expect him to move up

I agree that he probably will bounce when a bigger program comes calling. And I can't hate on a man getting a bigger paycheck in his field.

I just don't think he needs to.

But you right, at the end of the day time will tell if he can get the W's at a high level

He off to a great start imo tho
