It's a weird feeling; even after we beat dook on Saturday I told my son, "I don't even care about Monday night", that's how big that was. I think being the 8 seed and an underdog helped with that; we basically been playing with house money ever since the Baylor game. But when we jumped out to that big lead, one dared to dream. But as the wheels came off early in the second half and Kansas started asserting itself, it felt inevitable. Even at the end, I was just kinda like "oh well, it was still a good run"; much unlike that loss to Villanova that had me in a funk for like two weeks lol
is it me though or did north carolina underperform in the reg season?

i lost a good amount of money backing them only to see them get blown out in quite a few games. it just didnt make sense to me how they kept playing so bad cause they had size, shooting, experience and rebounding

No. College players playing their possibly last meaningful game EVER, play hard.
:unimpressed: And NBA players playing to reach the pinnacle of their profession play hard. And they happen to play at a much higher skill level to boot.

The amount of Bron threads or threads associated with one player is why the NBA is so damn trash and why I love college basketball. College sports in general are more team oriented and makes you feel like you're apart of something bigger.

Internet threads hamper your enjoyment of a sport on tv? Agreed this board is cheeks at times but:pachaha:

When the same topic is plastered across all forms of media all the time, it ruins the game for me. The story is always about a player. People don't give a damn about a team in the NBA. I might as well watch players play one on one watching that shyt.

Last Sunday’s South Carolina-UConn NCAA women’s basketball national championship averaged a combined audience of 4.85 million viewers across ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU, up 18% from Stanford-Arizona on ESPN alone last year (4.13M) and the largest audience for the event since 2004 (UConn-Tennessee: 5.58M). The game averaged a 2.6 rating across ESPN and ESPN2 (ESPNU figures were not immediately available), the highest since 2018 (UConn-Notre Dame: 2.8).

The Gamecocks’ win, which peaked with 5.91 million viewers from 10-10:15 PM ET, delivered the fourth-largest audience for the women’s title game since ESPN began airing the event more than a quarter-century ago. It trails only Purdue-Duke in 1999 (5.14M), UConn-Tennessee in ’04 and UConn-Oklahoma in 2002 (5.68M).
Fantastic numbers for the women's championship game :ehh:

Last night’s NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship nail-biter that saw Kansas defeat North Carolina 72-69 was the most-viewed NCAA Men’s Championship Game ever on cable television. The Kansas-UNC game delivered an average of 18.1 million viewers, based on total audience delivery. That’s up 4% over last year’s National Championship match up between Baylor and Gonzaga.
Great numbers for the men as well especially being on cable:ehh:

Now the question is should I go troll NBA stans with this info?
I think I will and watch them juelz about white folk :mjlol:
