His defensive skills will translate. He can rebound. And offensively he is skilled. He will be a franchise cornerstone

thats the one thing that excites me about Holmgren. Perimeter guys his size usually do not protect the rim, let alone show greatness at it.

Idk how great he will be next level, but the rim protection is a lot to me.

I’m not worried about his offence, I’m worried about his defence. I just don’t see him being able to guard effectively in the NBA. He will get his share of blocked shots but he’s also gonna get bodied in the paint or blown by on the perimeter. Time will tell of course but I’m sceptical. Then again, I didn’t think Mobley would be anything special but I was really wrong about that.

Mobley last year was 210 pounds. At 7 feet.

Chet is around 200 pounds at 7 feet.

most skilled 7-footer I've ever seen in college. I think you can slide him in at PF no question in his early years before he transitions to C. I loved Evan Mobley and referred to him as Duncan'ish last year but without hesitation I would say Chet is a better prospect. Clear cut #1 in my book.
