Detroit and Thunder fans, I read this so what do you think?

OKC and Detroit swap lottery picks and in exchange Detroit removes the protection for the heavily protected pick they they owe OKC next year. Think that’s a good deal for OKC. Very strong draft next year

Too high a risk imo. I don't like any of the top guys enough to gamble on missing out on a lottery pick in potentially a better draft in the event they don't make the playoffs.

You expect Detroit to be a top lottery pick next season? If so, then What’s the point of keeping Grant?

Don't think Detroit would really do something like that. Doubt their a playoff team next year barring some crazy moves that I don't see, especially if they trade Grant since Portland seems to be in on getting him.

It's not about being a top lottery team. But I'm not so confident about the team making the playoffs to the point where you risk a lottery pick next year to get a player that you still have a lot of questions about. The Pistons still have an overall talent deficiency and lack of assets. Can't keep giving away opportunities to improve the roster when your not just 1 player away.

Plus who's to say their keeping Grant, and if they are then it's because he fits the culture rebuild. Vets can help a young team grow too. But most fans want to treat teams like it's 2k and not a team of real people where relationships, chemistry and mentorship matter.
