So this brings a thought, from 2015-2021 how many hits vs misses did your schools classes have
Like how many touched the field significantly/went to the league of each years class ??

I guess I could make it easier this way, a list of players that made the league from each recruiting class or made a sizable impact at Bama:

Too early to tell with the 2021 class but you get the picture

See this is what i was talking about, they said your 17 class was the one, so i can see that number being high, but rest you are avg 10 give or take a year, which is so crazy when you think about how we hype recruiting classes, when realistically 10 of them mofos might be about something, and that’s at Bama, and if we being honest it’s a few of those fellas that had a cup of coffee in the league if that even though they got drafted

I’ll have to look at this more in depth but off top I know Dantonio had better success developing 2-3* players than he did with further developed 4* players.

I know our 2016 class had some talent and some of these guys ruined their lives. Josh King was the top player in the state of Illinois and caught a case with Donnie Corley and though Corley might be still trying to play ball I don’t think Josh King ever played football again.

that’s my point, there are more misses in peoples classes, so i think when signing day comes around folks gotta relax ( in my Nore Voice) and a separate discussion is what’s developed, because For dantoni yes he turned shyt to sugar, Fickle turned shyt to sugar, taking a dude benching 300 plus, running a 4.3 and a tackling machine and turning him into a drafted player is not developing, it’s more about keeping him focused, out of trouble and how you use him on the chess board, i understand the value, but you are essentially starting on 3rd base if we are keeping it funky

Yeah and quite a few I counted that hit at Bama didn’t even necessarily hit in the league and some of the 5 stars like Ben Davis barely saw the field.

Also, with the portal becoming increasingly popular, a lot of cats aren’t even with the program after a year or two, that’s why, while I get excited about recruiting classes, I realize that half of em won’t play meaningful football at Alabama.

but for real he might be a better cultural fit up there. And I’d assume Freeman will be more hands on with the defense so Golden might not run his bullshyt 3-4 read and react shyt that failed at Miami.

I could see it working out, but I could also see it failing miserably if he hasn’t learned from his time at the U.
