Those playoff appearances felt hollow because everyone knew they had no chance going against teams like Alabama and Clemson. He had talent, but not nearly enough to even be competitive against those teams. If him and his staff worked harder in recruiting those games could've been different. There was nothing stopping him from recruiting the way Freeman is now except effort. You say that like ND didn’t have great players and weren’t goin to the playoffs
Them Domers are are smoking crack
What step were yall on before he came?Kelly did ND a huge favor when he went to LSU.
That 4 star OL that committed the other day said ND wasn't even recruiting him until Freeman took over. It's been several other recruits who have said ND wasn't recruiting them or they weren't even interested in ND until Kelly left. I look at BK similar to Richt at UGA. Good coach who needed to go so the program could take that next step up.
We were solid to great in the trenches but lack athletes at the WR and CB positions and had a noodle arm below average athlete at QB in Ian book and jack coan ian book was a fukkin 3 star recruit starting at ND we was the only major school

I seriously doubt Clemson or UNC or broke FSU to leave after reading this Grant of Rights article
Staples: How would a school challenge a grant of rights? We asked a lawyer
There are four ways to challenge such a deal. Most of them involve a lot of money and patience.www.theathletic.com
There’s a reason Texas and OU are waiting until after the Big 12s current tv deal expires to join the SEC. Same with USC and UCLA
It wasn't hard for Kelly to look great compared to those losers like Weis and Willingham. What step were yall on before he came?

Yeah i read the article, it’s a steep price, also the acc signed a foolish contract, it should be in 5-10 year increments, they won’t be out their deal til 36, will Clemson still be Clemson by then, to jump in the sec
When you realize that at the administrative level those valuable ACC schools are just as stubborn about leaving their conference, as ND is about joining one, it makes perfect sense why they all banded together and signed a long term deal to kick the can down the road. Programs like Clemson, UVA, GT, and UNC are far more in favor of staying in their conference(Again at the decision making level) than USC, UCLA, Texas, and OU ever were to staying in the Pac-12 and Big 12. Something that even now, I don't think has dawned on most who follow or report on this stuff.
