Caught them slipping? Breh we beat their team that was 24-0, and their team that was #2 (or 3) in Columbus coming off a national title. OSU fans still say their 2015 team was one of their best ever. It’s not like we caught them in an off week, the one win was in the big ten title game, I’d hope they’d be prepared and not slipping playing for a conference title and a national championship appearance…winner of 2015 game was going to the B1G title game too, that game was in November, not some random early in the season game.

They were a Death Star program since the end of the tressel days when they started pulling 5*s from around the country and playing in title games almost every year.

2011 win in Columbus I don’t even Count bc they didn’t have a head coach…coincidentally y’all beat them that year too.

I’ve haven’t discredited y’all win again at OSU this year with all the “OSU had the flu” or “well it was in the snow in AA” or any of that. A win is a win. We beat them in Columbus and at a neutral site. Both of those teams had yet to lose that year too.

It’s been a long time since y’all have beat an undefeated OSU, especially in Columbus…

With that said…I don’t expect MSU to regularly beat OSU…but I’d certainly expect it to be more competitive than 56-3 or whatever the score was this year. And tbh I’d definitely hope to more competitive than y’all or PSU has been to OSU too.

When i say that, urban thought he could slide by, and realized that they had to get sec level talent, so he then switched stuff up, i forgot which year vs them y’all kicked they ass urban got his mind right, I’ll give props but you and i know you will never get the same shot from osu we will, but y’all rose up got yours, what you should do when the opportunity presents itself

Fair enough, OSU had beaten Bama in 2014 playoffs, but following year after we last beat them, they were shyt out by Clemson and really started to change up.

I’m not looking to be OSU’s main rival, I’d prefer to have them look head on the schedule and have us catch them off guard. But I can’t act like the 2013 and 2015 OSU squads weren’t quality wins…and y’all know damn well you were rooting for MSU in those games too

As of now and obv since the 70s, MSU just aren’t in the same stratosphere as OSU talent-wise. We’d need to complete this 2023 class at this same pace and have several more cycles at a similar clip to even compare. Y’all know as well as anyone how hard that is, on top of that you still have PSU and each other to deal with.

I’m just glad we’ve had 2 back to back HC hires that embraced the challenge rather than the previous thought process of “the ceiling is 8-10 wins, it’s too hard to consistently beat and recruit against PSU,UM,ND,OSU”

And it’s all hypothetical rn…we don’t have K9 to make 90 yard runs out of a broken play, our secondary was literally the worst in the country, we lost to Purdue, next year is big ten East + Wisconsin & @Washington on the schedule can easily be 4 losses

He found a lane but in todays world that only goes so far, Tucker working, but the pay and the feeling may be playoffs/compete for chips, he’s not going to convince large swathes of talent to thug it out in East Lansing, and despite that buy in from msu… don’t be surprised if this has a 4 year shelf life and then he’s on

SEC already came sniffing around and MSU showed they can meet and exceed any offer. It’s also been shown that MSU as a program can make the playoffs, and did so with a roster that had only 1 5*, and only a handful 4* players, so if Tucker can have a few cycles at this rate or similar, he can at least compete for a title, playoff birth.

Now, if Bama job opens, that’s something I’d be concerned about…but we already curved LSU and they’re arguably the 2nd best program…UGA’s coach ain’t going anywhere….if he turned down LSU, why would he accept an offer at UF or UTenn

Also, he’d probably leave for the nfl. BUT, before we worry about him leaving for the SEC or nfl, Tucker still has to prove he can have sustained success.

Work study - Management (Smith Barney) - A
Work Study - Marketing (Office Max ) - A
Bowling - A

you can work that system and something tells me Najee Harris isn't out here taking Econ 403 during the season
