Mel Tucker has five 4* commits in the last 2 weeks…just grabbed an O-Lineman w/ Bama and UGA offers along w/ a kid that just canceled his OV to UMich.

Maybe the kid w/ Bama and uga offer wasn’t their plan A recruit, but from MSU’s standpoint, we were competing w/ UCincy and MAC schools for strictly Midwest talent the last years of Dantonio’s era, so it’s nice to grab out of region blue chips that have offers from title contenders.

Dantonio might not have been getting 4 and 5* but he was obviously developing them kids. Tucker can obviously recruit but he still has to prove he can develop that talent. Texas recruits in the top 10 all the time but they’re losing games to Kansas and not having any players drafted
