We grabbing 4*s from outside the Midwest, I don’t think Dantonio ever was able to do that. I wouldn’t be surprise if Mel brings in his first 5* in this class

Dantonio was great at finding diamonds in the rough (2* Leveon Bell) and developing talent, but 2016 proved he didn’t have the ability to manage blue chip egos on a consistent basis. I miss his defenses tho…even our mediocre or underachieving teams had excellent defenses. In 2021 our secondary was dead last in the nation, I think OSU scored 5 passing TDs in the 1st Q and we made Cade Macnamara look like a 1st team all American.

You guys churned out a lot of talent, now it’s a few big game hunts you all are on, but if you can get a few kids mixed in with the sec cast offs you all might have some solid classes
