I’m down for shytting on OSU but I can’t decide if how y’all counting that duck ass 2020 move is trolling or nah…
Do you believe fOSU ducked Illinois in order to avoid injuries? Or does this nonsensical logic only apply to Michigan specific covid cancelations?:jbhmm:

Michigan missed 3 games because of a covid outbreak, fOSU isn't special.

There’s a difference between playing Illinois and playing Ohio St…in the end it truly doesn’t matter to me, and what’s done is done…

I personally view the timing of UMich’s “oh well we caught COVID” to have been rather convenient for y’all a few times. It’s especially glaring considering the Umich hosted meetings with other ADs/schools on how well michigans COVID protocols were and how other schools should follow their protocols lol.

IIRC your hoops team was on a downward slide back in January and conveniently caught COVID during a stretch of ranked opponents (MSU, Purdue), MSU wasn’t even made aware until they were in AA already…those games were rescheduled but the bleeding had stopped. Had you played a then hot MSU team and a solid Purdue at the time you likely lose both an miss the tournament altogether.

It might’ve been the same weekend but then your hockey team also caught COVID before having to play a ranked team (WMU?). And your hockey teams 2020-2021 COVID absences were even investigated for being deceptive.

It’s also interesting that despite hoops and hockey having continual outbreaks that the football team that has ~10x as many players as a hoops was able to stave of any COVID issues…conveniently they were a 1 loss team last year.

What did the football team do differently from the 2020 season to the 2021 season (beside fielding a quality team)?

Why did this drastic increase in quality control somehow allude the much smaller hoops and hockey programs?

Had your 2020 football team been undefeated going into that OSU game I put a zero % chance on them missing the game.

Not looking to get into some pissing contest, just stating the timing of the COVID stuff for UM has been very convenient from the outside looking in.

How is any of this applicable? MICHIGAN didn't cancel the game last year. The Big 10 did. OSU fools are on here talkin about how we dodged them, and it wasn't even our call. People acting like last years game would've been any worse than the Buckeyes dropping 100 on us like they did this past year. Oh wait..

And you saying it alluded the hockey and basketball team is just false. Michigan had 11 guys contract COVID at the same time from the hockey team. And 5 of them were BAD bad.. not just the sniffles.

The basketball team had a bad outbreak too, RIGHT after coming here to Orlando and playing UCF. I even called it on this site.. because of how lax the COVID protocols were (Thanks Desantis) I knew we'd get hit by the COVID bug and we did.

So your post isn't 100% factual. Genuine, maybe.. since it's possible you didn't know this. But definitely not factual.

I was asking what protocols did the football team follow; that to the best of my knowledge didn’t have a starter miss any time, that the basketball team and hockey couldn’t seem to figure out?

The football team is much larger and had no issues all season long due to COVID protocols, meanwhile the hoops and hockey team ran into issues.

Fair point about the UCF trip, however y’all did still manage to go on the road to Rutgers between the ucf game and canceling MSU and Purdue.

Like I said not trying to get y’all riled up, just looks suspicious, and suspicious enough that a law firm investigated.

I'm not sure why that is. The only thing I know about the football team is that those dudes weren't around damn near anyone. They were taking virtual classes. And they weren't allowed to leave their dorms if I remember correctly.. for months. It's hard as hell to get any info on the football team since Harbaugh's been here.

I get your point but we are talking about a virus, that can’t be controlled, and has gone through several mutations, this shyt is luck of the draw, also keep in mind everyone was so p noid so the vaxx was pushed hard, well when you are vaxxed you will not necessarily show symptoms, so guys can get infected be asymptomatic and infect other guys then boom you got a bunch of positives. Also we are asking 18-21 yo to stay to themselves for months on end…. Yeah that totally happened. We can play the speculation game all day but there are too many variables, plus none of us have all the information, so as much as you want to play the ah-ha game you just won’t get an answer other than what played out, did it help, yes, but these are still kids and this would also assume adults are like yes we were in no position to play the game, we need an exit strategy

The Big Ten actually did not cancel any games in 2020. No team actually reached the “threshold” where Big Ten was forced to step in.

Watch Carr's film, and ask yourselves this (honestly) ..

Is Carr a 5 star to you?

What part of his game screams 5 star?

Also.. for my Buckeye brehs.. that can afford paid sites.. its looking like Carr is gonna reclassify. Dude was 4th or 5th on Michigan's pecking order. (for 2024) He moves to 2023? He's even further down. Michigan would prefer Dante Moore in 2023. In 2024, they prefer Jadyn Davis.

Congrats Notre Dame :manny:
