Not being in a conference no longer works.

Y'all continue to spew this like it will somehow change ND's decision making. They are the brand of brands in college football. Even if recent history doesn't support it, it's literally a step back for them on a $$ front. Playoff & NY6 bowl $ they don't have to share w/ a conference. TV $ they don't have to divide w/ a conference and that's on par or just below w/ the ACC & Big 12. Ability to craft a schedule that will make it damn near impossible to deny them entry when expansion occurs. It works for them and only them. They don't need a conference.

Georgia shouldn’t be in the top 4. But the presedent has already be set years ago with Nebraska. Georgia could’ve have literally rested all of their starters and still got in.

But I get it. I simultaneously watched Georgia vs Alabama and Cincy vs Houston and you can clearly see the talent divide. Cincy truly lucked out. With how the season played out.

They should’ve been ranked higher, and it would’ve been a more impressive win for Cincinnati.

If Cincinnati wins or have a close loss, it will only increase for profile of that conference. But if they get blown out, it will hurt the next team that goes undefeated. Cincy has more pressure on them than they realize.

Who in the NFL is going to hire him right now? It is what it is, we’ve hired bums like Pelini and Linehan who wasn’t going to leave cause nobody wanted them. Shyt sucked. Bama stay winning and they stay changing their staff every year. That’s just the cost of success.
