Georgia shouldn’t be in the top 4. But the presedent has already be set years ago with Nebraska. Georgia could’ve have literally rested all of their starters and still got in.
But I get it. I simultaneously watched Georgia vs Alabama and Cincy vs Houston and you can clearly see the talent divide. Cincy truly lucked out. With how the season played out.

different system same fukkery. In 2002 Nebraska got blown out by Colorado and didn’t even play in their conference championship game. But still finished the year ranked number 2 and got to play in the national title game.
why? Because all year the experts though they were the best or second best.
it used to be that losing late in the year hurt your national title chances. That’s clearly not the case anymore.

The BCS got it right more than wrong. And Nebraska wouldn't have even been playing if Tennessee didn't shyt the bed vs. LSU. Oregon got shafted but would have gotten destroyed if they played Miami that year

Nobody was beating the U that year. Might as well sacrifice Nebraska and sell the Heisman trophy winner vs. the the U. I enjoyed the hell out if that game, so it was worth it.
