At least them coming to the SEC likely keeps the ACC alive for a lil bit longer, and maybe they steal someone like Houston and UCF and get stronger. Also can make the PAC 12 more interesting, with Baylor and TCU likely going that way.

Gardner was supposed to be his QB too. He was gonna be Michigan's Terrelle Pryor. Rich Rod's system was tailor made for a guy like him.

Denard had more success but Gardner was the more talented player. His whole development got wrecked transitioning from the spread to Joke's offense.

But yeah, no coach is gonna be successful when so many people refuse to support him. From day one there was a vocal contingent against him. The 3-3-5 was an abomination but he had no chance at Michigan.
