League doesn't care about boarding. I could argue that hit is similar to the one Reaves put on Hughes last night.

I'm being as unbiased as possible. I have said the Bruins penalties they have committed this series have been idiotic, ranging from the Ritchie slash to the MaCavoy rough to the Ritchie five minute major. All of those penalties were well deserved.

However, that hit on MaCavoy was a CLEAR boarding penalty. I know he slightly turned, but he was hit right in the fukking numbers. At best for the Lightning, that should have been a two minute minor for boarding.

I agree it was boarding but the league doesn't care. They've made that clear at this point.

The NHL is the one league still holding onto the past in terms of violence and collisions.
