I love baseball as it is and agree with you, but I would like to see what the game looks like with some of these quirks, especially if we only have time for a 50-60 game season. Larger rosters, managers working their pitching like it's October all season, multiple double-headers a week so bench guys have to start regularly, etc. As a fan I'm hoping they take advantage of a bad situation to up the intensity/strategy for the whole season.

They should do the magic at-bat for the 9th inning (or 7th if they do that) and allow the manager to use any three hitters to start the 9th, regardless of where they are in the order.

Shieeet, a low level small market team like the Royals Or the suck ass Orioles will snap their asses up and lock them down to 5 year contracts quick fast.
