Highly disagree with Passan saying this would have looked bad for MLB if they didn't play a season and teams forced an extra year of service time on a contract. It looks worse for the league that they may not play and will still let people be free agents. A contract needs to be honored.

Guys who debuted late last year or were gonna play this season are getting hosed by this.
I'd be hot if I was the Dodgers too if the season gets canceled and they lose Mookie w/o even getting to see him play.

ESPN is playing Kerry Wood's 20 k game from 1998 and holy shyt at the strike zone, especially to right handed hitters
To Wood's credit, Astros hitters couldn't hit anything in the zone either. One thing that stands out is batters aren't complaining about pitches being 6 inches outside and called a strike. Today an ump would get power bombed through a table.
