Auburn is better if you want to win a championship, it's just a brand more players seem to be interested in now

Neither has had the "right" coach since the mid 2000s, so that can't even be an argument favoring UTk. They're in a state with far less competition, have it easier in recruiting, and have a mildly better set of Trustees. They got a dumb ass fanbase that doesn't realize it's 2020 and not '98 though. All of that SHOULD mean it's an easier/better job, but we've seen time and time they don't attract the guy. And if they miss out on Freeze, Pruitt's tenure is gonna be shaky for the rest of his time there (I imagine they just keep him if they whiff). There's systemic issues there that are harder to explain than at Auburn.

2020 Top Football Recruits in Tennessee

Tenn has had some good talent. It might be top heavy, but if, like in 2020, you can get to put a fence on the state, you'll get some special guys. You go back to 2019, they only got 2 out of the top 15. Plus, my original point was that they have it easier due to less instate competition. The 5 they got out of the top 10 >>> the 2 we got out of Alabama I dont even wanna touch on 2021
