JD Davis bails out the Mets lack of speed with that home run. A run had to score on that Rosario double.

Tomas Nido is having a really bad night on the bases. Have to bust your ass down the third base line on sac fly situation. Poor baserunning overall and that's why the Mets are who they are.

It seems like no matter who the manager is, poor fundamentals plague this team. The last Mets teams that played fundamentally sound were the Bobby V teams. It's definitely an organization issue

Rosario's hitting has been really solid so far this year, at times he has poor at-bats but overall he's been on it.

Conforto with a granny?

Lowkey I think Rosario is our 3B of the future. His bat has been maturing nicely this year, a polar opposite of his defense. I think in short order it'll be a prototypical 3B bat. Mets don't have much at 3B in the minors, so they could kill two birds with one stone if the organization chooses to go that route. Really all depends on if Gimenez is the truth or just another Ruben Tejada.

I think of a middle of the order lineup of Alonso, healthy Cespedes, and Conforto.....and I die a little bit inside every time
