Some of the people they resigned as well as Cole Hamels but it's honestly just seeing them make moves while from everything we're reading as far as signing people, the Mets signalling they're sitting on their hands.

I believe Lugo's preference is to start and if that's the case him and then get someone cheaper per year as insurance/depth hopefully. We don't need to blow $18M on 1 SP. We could spread that around to 2-3 RPs.

I really really don't think they're gonna give him that opportunity but look at the money we're talking. They should be able to do more than that. They literally need to if 2020 is their shot before rebuilding.
