You're missing my point. Insurance covers roughly 75-85% of his and Wright's salaries. Instead of investing that recouped money back into the team, they sit on it.

After Cespedes went down THIS year and they collected on his salary THIS season, they didn’t put it back into the team. Same with Wright. I’m not sure why you’re for the Wilpons right now. Every writer and their mothers written about how frugal they’ve been with the insurance money.

No we don't. Starting pitching was not our problem and Kimbrel was atrocious this year.
