Discussion on Twitter among the beat writers about where JD fits in next season and possibly moving him for "pieces". Why would you trade JD Davis when it's not known how Cespedes will look when he comes back next season? A surplus of hitters is a good thing to have especially when the roster expands to just 28 next September.

I'm fine with moving Cespedes in the off season, in fact..move him for bullpen arms. 
I don't mean to come down harsh on Cano, but it looks like he's done with baseball and is just playing out his contract. If possible, move him in the off season too

If you dangle Cespedes to Oakland (or somewhere he'd like to go.. out west probably), Maybe even Cleveland to replace Greg Allen and get some more pop in left. I'm sure he'll waive it. Bring back some bullpen arms. Same with Cano. Bring back high salaried arms that need a new scenery. I'ma need that Mets offseason thread already though. I wanna see where everyones heads at .. and what ideas you fellas might have.
