I don't get it. Sure they're within 5 of the wild card but why delete the farm when a wise move would be to restock.
Maybe bvw is going all in and trying to make a surprise run.

like Stroman and was hoping the Mets could have acquired him. Didn't think it was going to happen while they're essentially non competitive. They're setting up a retool for next season. As mentioned, Stroman is a ground ball pitcher, so guys like Rosario need to get better quickly.

The farm system doesn't have arms. They have position players who can be decent to good. That's one area Sandy really whiffed at when he was drafting. Doesn't make sense for BVW to give up Allan this quickly.
