Is the first question a legit question? Why do you think? Because $$$$$$$$$$$$$ Wilpons are cheap as fukk. They weren't tryna all that add to the payroll.

On the second part.. I'm hoping a revamp of our IF is happening.

If they trade Noah instead of Wheeler after doing this you just gotta laugh :mjlol: Idk what the hell to even do anymore other than pray Fred is on them flight logs.

Tbh the play here I would make it to sign Wheeler long term, try and work something out with Stroman, and then trade Thor for as much up the middle help as you can get. If you can't resign Wheeler, trade him for the best set of prospects you can get regardless of how far away they are and just eat it with Thor.

But you HAVE to keep one of the two, because Stroman cost $10M and we literally wouldn't have a 5th starter or any direction as a franchise without one of them.

Ideally, you keep both, go all in and hope you fluke in this year but if not, you tool up, supplement as best you can and if things are still on fire this time next year you blow the whole thing up and trade everybody.
