Clemson's success is because of all of the elite 4-5 star guys they have brought in, not their 3 star players.
And obviously 3 star players can be good, no shyt fellas. I was just pointing out FSU didn't get any immediate help for their OL and no one can argue that. If any of those low 3 stars are going to be good, it will be 2-3 years down the road at best.

Exactly, there was only so much Mullen could do with those 3 star players at Miss State, he got the most out of all those guys and they were still only a 10 win team at best. Mullen with 4-5 star guys is going to be scary. Rankings aren't conclusive but they give a good valuation of players and more often than not the 4 and 5 star players are better than 3 star players. There are a lot of 3 star guys that are close to being 4 stars that become good, I'm not talking about them. The FSU OL recruits I'm talking about are low 3 star guys who won't be shyt

A lot Clemson’s success also have to do with the fact that their coaches, particularly on defense have been at Clemson for nearly a decade, creating continuity.

They missed on a lot of top guys this year. And I never said 3 star guys can't be good so not sure why you keep trying to imply that. But there aren't many low 3 star OL that become great. And they especially aren't going to help right away which was my original point

They were already at around 25 after the early signing period they got the guys they really wanted, and you were going back and forth with me telling Jay ward and Cordale Flott weren't shyt cuz their 3 stars. Most of Clemson starting o-line are 3* and they shut Bama's d-line down.

No I was just defending Williams b/c LSU fans kept trying to act like he ain't shyt just because he didn't sign with y'all. Even though y'all clearly need him as I pointed out the lack of CB depth y'all are going to have. And lol Mitch Hyatt was high 5 star, their LG is 4 star the others are 3 star but were senior and juniors. My point still stands. 3 star can be made into good players in 2-3 years. Taggart and co don't have that kind of time
